In her illustrations, Gebbie employs any and all types of pen and ink line work, drawing from Japanese early ukiyo prints to eighteenth-century caricaturists like Gillray, and modern artists like Hans Bellmer (1940s).
She uses a startling and texturally rich colour palette and any and all mediums like crayons, acrylics, coloured inks and collage to put her playful and arresting point across, whatever the subject.
